South Bay trends identified at South Bay Cities Council of Government Assembly

Arnold Ng of Apex Commercial Real Estate recently attended the South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCG) held in City of Carson.

 

SBCCG is an organization representing 16 Los Angeles South Bay communities : Carson, County of Los Angeles, El Segundo, Gardena, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Inglewood, Lawndale, Lomita, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, Torrance.

The theme for the SBCCOG’s 2019 General Assembly was Celebrating the Past – Shaping the Future. City mayors, planning officials, economic development leaders, educators, researchers and historians were on hand to reflect on the deep history of events which shaped the region and to talk about issues facing the future. Ng was able to network with many of the movers and shakers in these cities in which Apex has helped clients with their commercial real estate needs.

The trends affecting this region include an aging population, and a continued shared commitment on improving the environment, reducing traffic congestion and affordable housing.

Understanding the macroeconomic and microeconomic environments is helpful in assisting clients make the right business or warehouse relocation decisions.
